Editor Overview

Let’s get to know about the basic elements of editing your online store.

Opening Editor

To customize your website, you need to open the editor from your account. Follow the below mentioned steps for opening the editor.


Step 1.
Click on Customize Website from the main menu.

Step 2.
Click on Customize Website.

Step 1.
Click on Customize Website from the Homepage.

Step 2.
Click on Customize Website.

Preview Website

This option helps you view your website with the changes made.


Step 1.
Click on Customize Website from the main menu.

Step 2.
Click on Customize Website.

Step 3.
Click on Preview and you will be able to see how your website will look to the customer.

You can also get a preview of how your website will look on a mobile or on a desktop.For mobile preview, click on , next to the Preview option. The following screen will be displayed.

For desktop preview, click on , next to the Preview option. The following screen will be displayed.

Step 1.
Click on Customize Website from the Homepage.

Step 2.
Click on Customize Website.

Step 3.
Click on More and then click on Preview Website .

You will be able to see how your website will look to a customer.

Save Changes

Whenever you make any changes while customizing your website, you need to save these changes. Unless the changes are not saved, they will not be reflected on your online store.


Step 1.
Click on Customize Website from the main menu.

Step 2.
Click on Customize Website.

Step 3.
Once all the changes are made click on Save option.


Note

When you click on the drop down next to Save you will receive an option called Save Website as Copy.

This option saves all the customization done by you in the theme which can be applied if needed in future.

In My Websites section, hover on the websites that are already saved and click on Activate to apply any of them on your current website.

Step 1.
Click on Customize Website from the Homepage.

Step 2.
Click on Customize Website.

Step 3.
Once all the changes are made click on Save .

Undo Action

If you have made any changes which needs to be undone, this option can be used. You cannot use the undo option if you have saved the changes.


Step 1.
Click on Customize Website from the main menu.

Step 2.
Click on Customize Website.

Step 3.
Click on  . The following pop-up will be displayed.

Step 4.
Click on Confirm to undo the changes.


Note

You will also receive the undo option when you delete anything from your web page.

Step 1.
Click on Customize Website from the Homepage.

Step 2.
Click on Customize Website.

Step 3.
You will receive the undo option when you delete any element from the web page.

Clicking on undo will restore the changes made.

Pages

A page or a web page contains relevant content related to your online store. A user can navigate to pages as per his requirements. A well designed page can attract a lot of customers. To know more about creating pages, click here.

Apps

This option allows you to add third party applications to your website. To know more about adding apps, click here.

SEO

SEO plays a crucial role when it comes to boosting your website rankings on search engines like Google or Bing. To know more about SEO, click here.

Settings

This option gives you more features to add to your online store. To know more about settings, click here.

Custom Code

Custom code allows you to add scripts on your websites. These scripts can be used to enable various features such as chat widgets, notification systems, and others to your entire site or to individual pages in your site. To know more about custom code, click here.

Social Wall
