Print Barcode

The print barcode option allow you to design and print the barcode for your inventory items.


Step 1.
Click on Inventory on the homepage.The following module will be displayed.Step 2.
Click on Manage Inventory and the following options will be displayed.

Step 3.
Click on Print Barcode and the following page will be displayed.

Step 4.
Select the Printer Profile from the drop-down.

Step 5.
Enter the product name in the search bar and select the required product from the drop-down list.

You can add multiple products at a time to print their barcodes at once. If required, under the Batch/Lot no Details column, the batch of the product can be added.

Step 6.
Click Select / Add Batch to add a batch. The following pop-up will be displayed.

Step 7.
Select the desired batch and click on Select Batches.

The new batch will be updated in the list on the Print Barcode page.

Step 8.
Enter the value in Print Qty.

Step 9.
Click on Print Barcode to print it.

Once done, barcode printed successfully message is displayed

This functionality is currently unavailable for mobile.

Custom Code for Barcode Label

This section allows you to setup your own printer label.


Click on Inventory on the homepage.The following module will be displayed.

Step 2.
Click on Manage Inventory and the following options will be displayed.

Step 3.
Click on Print Barcode and the following page will be displayed.

Step 4.
Click on Manage Printer Profile present on the top right corner of the page.

Following modal opens up where all the profile of existing printers are present.

Step 5.
To create new printer profile, click on Create Printer Profile

Following modal is displayed.

Step 6.
Enter the profile name for the printer.

Step 7.
Select the Printer Type. Click on the drop-down and select Custom Code for Barcode Label.

Step 8.
Enter the Labels Per Row as per your requirement and enter the IP address port.

IP Address Port
Here you  can enter the IP address of the host machine from where the barcode will be printed. If no such IP address is required i.e. if you will be printing from your own machine, then you will enter ‘localhost’ in the field.

Step 9.
Enter the PNR code in the modal that appears.

Important Note
In this modal, there will be a field for you to write your barcode template in your own preferred development language i.e. the PRN Code for the template. This will support any barcode development language that you prefers, for e.g. for Zebra GT800 the language used is ZPL, for Argox CP300 the language PPLB . You can put in code elements for all the fields that you want to put in your barcode design.

Step 10.
You can also add the values to add some predefined fields in your barcode that will be provided by us. Click on Add Value.

Step 11.
Select the relevant fields from the drop-down.

Step 12.
Enter the maximum characters you want to display.

Step 13.
Click on Submit. Similarly, you can select all the fields and select the number of characters to display.

Step 14.
Click on  the cross icon to close the side bar

Step 15.
Once all the changes are made click on Save Printer Profile . Once the printer is added you will see the following screen.
