Delivery Pending Orders

This module displays the list of all pending home delivery orders.


Why are my Online Orders not appearing here?
In case an online order is not being displayed on the Delivery Pending page, check whether that order has been Billed. All order placed online first have to be billed, only after which will it be eligible for delivery.

Assign Delivery Boy

You can assign a delivery boy to the order with this feature.


Step 1.
In the main menu, click on Orders from the Sales drop-down.Step 2.
Click on Delivery Pending.The following page will be displayed.

Each order has 5 columns and displays the following information:

    • Delivery Date & Time: This displays the date and time when the delivery has to be made.
    • Order Date: This displays the date and time when the order was placed. It also displays the order number, and whether the order was placed from your website or your app.
    • Invoice date: This displays the date and time when the invoice was generated. It also displays the invoice number.
    • Customer: This displays the name and contact number of your customer.
    • Order Value: This displays the total amount of the order.

Step 3.
Click on Assign for Delivery.

The following slider will be displayed.

Step 4.
Click on Delivery Boy and a list of delivery boys will be displayed.

Busy: This label is displayed when the delivery boy has multiple deliveries assigned to him.
Offline: This label is displayed when the delivery boy has not signed into the application.
Available: This label is displayed when the delivery boy is available for deliveries

Once assigned, the delivery boy’s name will be displayed next to the order.

As soon as the delivery boy picks up the order from your store and updates the same on his app, the status of the Order will be updated to Track Delivery, along with the name of the delivery boy assigned.

Step 5.
Click on Track Delivery and the following modal will be displayed.

Step 6.
In case of pending payment, click on the order and the following page will be displayed. Click on Collect Payment

 

The following modal will be displayed.

Step 7.
Select the payment mode as per your requirement and click on Confirm Payment.


Note

In case the status of the order is Delivery Failed/Collect Goods, it means that the delivery was not successful, and you either need to cancel the order or assign another delivery boy to complete the delivery.In case the delivery boy was not able to successfully deliver the order to the customer, he will mark the order as Delivery Failed. This will change the status of the order to Delivery Failed / Collect Goods, and will be displayed along with the name of the delivery boy who could not deliver the order. To proceed with failed delivery orders, follow the below mentioned steps.

Step 1.
Click on Delivery Failed/Collect Goods.

The following modal will be displayed.

Step 2.
Click on Cancel Order if you want to cancel the delivery order.

Step 3.
Click on Assign For Delivery and the following slider will open. You can re-assign for delivery with these options.

Click on any order which needs to be delivered. The following page will be displayed.Step 4.Click on Assign for Delivery and the following options will be displayed. Step 5.

Add Courier Services

Courier services are helpful and economical in case of large deliveries.


Step 1.
In the main menu, click on Orders from the Sales drop-down.

Step 2.
Click on Delivery Pending.

The following page will be displayed.

Step 3.
Click on Assign for Delivery.

The following slider will be displayed.

Step 4.
Click on Courier Services and a list of all courier services will be displayed.

Step 5.
Click on any courier company and the following slider will be displayed on your screen.

Step 6.
Enter the Courier Company tracking ID, which will sent to your customer via SMS. Click on Save and Send.

Step 1.
Click on Orders from the Homepage.

Following page will be displayed.

Step 2.
Click on Delivery Pending and the following page will be displayed on the screen.

Click on any order which needs to be delivered. The following page will be displayed.

Click on Assign for Delivery and the following options will be displayed.

Click on Courier Services and a list of all courier services will be displayed.

Step 5.
Click on any courier company and the following slider will be displayed on your screen.

Step 6.
Enter the Courier Company tracking ID, which will sent to your customer via SMS. Click on Save and Send.

Customer Pickup

This feature is useful when the customer picks up the delivery order from the store.


Step 1.
In the main menu, click on Orders from the Sales drop-down.Step 2.
Click on Delivery Pending.The following page will be displayed.Step 3.
Click on Assign for Delivery.

The following slider will be displayed.

Step 4.
Click on Customer Pickup and the following slider will be displayed

The customer name and number will be pre-filled. You can edit these details if required.

Step 5.
Click on Confirm and the payment modal will be displayed on your screen.

Step 6.
Select the payment mode as per your requirement and click on Confirm Payment. Once the payments are added, the order will be considered complete, and will be removed from the Delivery Pending tab.
