Inventory Settings

This section allows you to configure your inventory module according your requirements.


    1. This option will allow the system to automatically maintain the reorder quantity for all the products in the system.

Reorder Quantity

The reorder quantity calculation depends on the highest point of a product’s inventory (peak inventory) in the last 60 days, and the current inventory.Reorder quantity = Peak Inventory – Current Inventory

Example
If the highest point my inventory reached in the last 60 days was 100, and my current inventory for that product is 60, the reorder quantity will be 40.
    1. This option will  automatically maintain the reorder level for all products in the system.

Reorder Level

The reorder level calculation depends on the highest point the inventory of a product reached (peak inventory), the percentage set, and the number of days selected.

Reorder Level= Percentage of Peak Inventory in Number of Days

Example
Let's consider that I set the percentage as 20, and the days as 60. If the highest point my inventory reached in the last 60 days was 100, the reorder level will be 20.
Important Note
You can change the percentage and the number of days as per your convenience.
  1. Enabling this option will allow the system to display and maintain the batch and lot numbers for the products on its own. You will not have to create or maintain it manually.Click on Save once you have made all the necessary changes.
