Invoice Settings

This section allows you to configure how prices should be displayed on your invoices. You can choose to either display only prices, or else the discounts along with them too. For both the receipt types, you can choose whether or not savings should be displayed on the bill or not.


This section looks as follows :

  1. This allows you to choose whether or not your 80mm receipts should display a breakup of the applied taxes.
  2. You can select whether total savings should be displayed on the receipt or not.
  3. Enabling this option will display invoice number in A4/A5 invoices and 80mm receipt.
  4. Enabling this option will display order number in A4/A5 invoices and 80mm receipt.
  5. This option will display Product wise taxes on the receipt.
  6. This option will display HSN/SAC code for the products & services on the receipt.
  7. This section allows you to customize your Sales Invoice Numbering Pattern. You can customize how the invoice numbers will be displayed.
  8. This section allows you to customize your Purchase Invoice Numbering Pattern. You can customize how the invoice numbers will be displayed.
  9. This section allows you to round off the prices. It can be rounded up, down or to the nearest decimal.
    Price Rounding

    Price Rounding will help you in rounding off the total amount from the Sales invoice/order.

     

    Once you click on Settings of the Price Rounding option, the following slider will be displayed.  This slider contains the following sections:

    1. Rounding Type
    2. Rounding Currency Value
    3. Examples for above sections.

    The Rounding Type section has the following types:

    1. Nearest Rounding Type
    2. Round Up Rounding Type
    3. Round Down Rounding Type

    Nearest Rounding Type

    In this type , price rounding will always be done to a value which is closest to the current decimal value.

    Below are five common rounding currency values.

    Here is am example for 0.10 currency value

    • An invoice value of 10.13 will be rounded down to 10.10.
    • An invoice value of 10.17 will be rounded up to 10.20.

    Here is an example for 0.50 currency value

    • An invoice value of 10.20 will be rounded down to 10.00.
    • An invoice value of 10.25 will be rounded up to 10.50.

    Here is the example for 0.00 currency value

    • An invoice value of 10.44 will be rounded down to 10.00.
    • An invoice value of 10.50 will be rounded up to 11.00

    Here is the example for 5.00 currency value

    • An invoice value of 12.00 will be rounded down to 10.00.
    • An invoice value of 13.00 will be rounded up to 15.00

    Here is the example for 10.00 currency value

    • An invoice value of 12.00 will be rounded down to 10.00.
    • An invoice value of 15.00 will be rounded up to 20.00

    Round Up Rounding Type

    In this type, invoice value will always be rounded up to the higher value.

    Here is an example for 0.10 currency value

    • An invoice value of 10.11 will be rounded up to 10.12.

    Here is an example for 0.50 currency value

    • An invoice value of 10.10 will be rounded up to 10.50.

    Here is an example for 0.00 currency value

    • An invoice value of 10.10 will be rounded up to 11.00.

    Here is an example for 5.00 currency value

    • An invoice value of 11.00 will be rounded up to 15.00.

    Here is an example for 10.00 currency value

    • An invoice value of 11.00 will be rounded up to 20.00.

    Round Down Rounding Type

    In this type, invoice value will always be rounded down to lower value.

    Here is the example for 0.10 currency value

    • An invoice value of 10.18 will be rounded down to 10.10.

    Here is the example for 0.50 currency value

    • An invoice value of 10.80 will be rounded down to 10.50.

    Here is the example for 0.00 currency value

    • An invoice value of 10.90 will be rounded down to 10.00.

    Here is the example for 5.00 currency value

    • An invoice value of 14.00 will be rounded down to 10.00.

    Here is the example for 10.00 currency value

    • An invoice value of 14.00 will be rounded down to 10.00.

    Step 4.
    Select your rounding type from the 3 options .

    Step 5.
    Select rounding currency value of your choice from the given options.

    Step 6.
    Click on Save.

    Once you enable this setting, the round off setting will be enabled in Billing module, on your shopping cart and while creating new order.
