SMS Campaign

This module allows you to send promotional messages to your customers via SMS to your customers so that they are updated about your products/services.


1. From the Admin Panel, go to Marketing and click on Campaign.

2. To create a new campaign click on New Campaign, a modal window appears.

3. On clicking SMS option, an SMS Campaign Dialog Box window appears. Enter the details as required.

4. Select the customers from the drop-down list. The options provided are as follows:

  • All Customers: The SMS would be sent to all customers registered in your system. This is the Default option selected.
  • Active Since: The SMS would be sent to those customers who are actively viewing or buying your products from the webstore.
  • Groups: These are considered to be either your loyal customers or the customers that you cater certain specific products.
  • List of Customers: Enables to select your customers individually from a list


How to create Customer Groups for a new customer ?

Customer Groups functionality is used to identify your special customers from the normal ones. These are the customers you normally send discount notifications and special offers.

For a New Customer:

1. From the Admin panel, go to Sales and click on Customers.

2. On the landing page, click on Add New Customer.

From the following modal enter the customers name.

You will be prompted to enter additional details. Under Customer groups enter a group name you wish your customer to be in.

If your adding a customer into an existing group, its pop-up option gets displayed.

3. To save the changes made, click on Continue.

The customer gets displayed in the list with the customer group tag along with it.

How to create Customer Groups for an existing customer ?

For an Existing Customer:

1. From the Admin panel, go to Sales and click on Customers.

2. On the landing page, click on Manage Customers.

3. From the list, select a customer.

4. Click on Edit, under the Customer Details section.

5. Under Customer groups enter a group name you wish your customer to be in.

If your adding a customer into an existing group, its pop-up option gets displayed.

6. To save the changes made, click on Save.

The customer gets updated in the list with the customer group tag along with it.

5. Enter a mobile number in Send Test SMS to send a trial message to yourself or any staff member.

6. Click on Send SMS to send the composed message to the selected customers.

7. An SMS Campaign dialog box will be displayed on the screen for confirmation. Click on Send.

Important Note
You can save the created campaign for further use by clicking on the Save as draft.

1. From the Home page, tap on Campaign.

2. From the following page, tap on Add new Campaign.

The following page opens up. Tap on SMS.

4. Enter the Campaign Name and compose your message.

5. Select the customers from the drop-down list.

Select Customer for Sending Campaign

There are four options by which you can select customers to send campaigns.

All Customers

Step 1.
Select All Customers, and all the customers that are present in your system will be selected and the count will be displayed along with View list button.

Step 2.
Click on View List to view the list of all the customers.

Click on Continue to proceed.

Active customer

Step 1.
Select Active Customer and it will display the options with radio button like 7days,30 days,90 days,180 days and 365 days.

  • Since 7 days: Selects the customer that were active since 7 days.
  • Since 30 days: Selects the customer that were active since 1 month.
  • Since 90 days: Selects the customer that were active since 3 months.
  • Since 180 days: Selects the customer that were active since 6 months.
  • Since 365 days: Selects the customer that were active since 1 year.

On selecting any of the options above ,total count of  customer will be displayed along with the View list button.

Step 2.
Once done, click on Send SMS button.

Group

Step 1.
Select Group and it will display all the groups create by you along with the All Group option.

On selecting any of the groups, total count of  customer will be displayed along with the View list button.

Step 2.
Click on Send SMS once you have made the necessary changes.

List of Customer

Step 1.
Select List of Customer and the following slider will be displayed on the screen

The customer list has the following tabs:

  • Add Customer: Displays the name of the customers in your system.
  • View Selected: Displays the name of the selected customer.

Step 2.
Select the customers to whom you want to send the SMS.

Step 3.
Click on the Continue once the customers are selected.


View Selected

In the view customer tab you can remove the selected customer by clicking on 'X'.

  • You can clear all the selected customers by clicking on Clear All.
  • You can also search for a customer in given search bar.

Step 4.
Click on Send SMS once you have made all the changes.

6. Tap on Send SMS to forward the message to your customers.

Important Note
You can save the created campaign for further use by clicking on the Save as draft.
