The Google Play Store functionality allows you to customize your mobile app’s splash screen, store icon and how your app should look on the Google Play Store.

Admin Approval on changes
Please note that all changes made by you will be first reviewed by our team, only after which will they be updated on the Google Play store. In case something is rejected, you will be notified to change it to something appropriate.

Change App Icon

It is used to display your app name and store’s logo/brand icon on the app listing page on Google Play store. This will help your customers to easily identify your store from others. On the Google Play store, it looks as follows:

1. Click on Customise Website from the main menu.

The following page will be displayed. The Customise App module looks as follows:


Note
In case you want to go back to your account, click on the  icon. This opens your account’s main menu, where you can select the required module you want to navigate to.

2. Click on Google Play Store and the following page will be displayed.

3. Click on Edit next to the brand logo. It will display the following options.

4. You can change the name of your app in the App Name section.

5. To change the app icon, click on Edit option. A modal will open up from where you can select the required image.


Note
Image Specifications: Ensure that the selected image is in accordance to the specifications.
Width: 1020px
Height: 1980px
Format: JPEG or PNG

6. Once all the changes are made, check the text-box stating the disclaimer and click on Save.

The updated App Name and icon will displayed on the mobile screen.

Please Note
This feature is currently unavailable in mobile.
You can change App icon only through computer.

Change Splash Screen

The App Splash Screen section allows you to customize your mobile app’s splash screen. It is a graphical element which contains a logo, an image, and the software’s current version.


1. Click on Customise Website from the main menu.

The following page will be displayed.

In case you want to go back to your account, click on the  icon. This opens your account’s main menu, where you can select the required module you want to navigate to.

2. Click on Google Play Store and the following page will be displayed.

3. Click Edit on the App Splash Screen mobile screen. A modal will open up from where you can select the required image.

Note
Image Specifications: Ensure that the selected image is in accordance to the specifications.
Width : 1020px
Height : 1980px
Format : 72 dpi, JPEG or 24-bit PNG (No-transparency)

4. Once all the changes are made, click on Save.

Update Google Play Store Details

The Google Play store section allows you to make changes to your mobile app’s listing on Google Play store. This page should be attractive and informative, so that your customers can easily recognize your store from the others available on the Google Play store.


1. Click on Customise Website from the main menu.

The following page will be displayed.

In case you want to go back to your account, click on the  icon. This opens your account’s main menu, where you can select the required module you want to navigate to.

2. Click on Google Play Store and the following page will be displayed.

3. An app’s listing page on Google Play store looks as follows, and has the following sections:

1. Play Store Showcase Graphics: Clicking on this will open the Showcase Graphics module.

Click on Edit to change the existing image. In the modal that opens up, navigate to the location where the image is stored, select the image, and click on Open.

You can also add a promotional video to your listing page, by pasting the video’s URL in the Promo Video field.


Note
Only videos from YouTube are accepted on the Google Play store. Make sure that your video is first uploaded on YouTube, and then paste the link here.

Click on Save once you have made the required changes.

2. Brand Identity: To know more about Brand Logo, click here.

3. Edit Description: The description section gives a brief information about your mobile app. Clicking on Edit will open the following module.

This section mainly comprises of a short description, and a full description. The short description allows you to add 80 characters, that will be visible on the app’s listing page. The full description allows you to describe your store and business in 4000 characters, and will only be visible if the customer clicks on the Read More option.

Click on Save once you have updated the required content.

4. Manage ScreenShot: This section displays images of how your app looks, so that customers can easily understand how to use the app. Clicking on Edit will display the following module.

Click on Choose Image and from the modal that will open up, you can select the relevant image.

Click on Save after you have uploaded the screenshots.
