The reorder quantity calculation depends on the highest point of a product’s inventory (peak inventory) in the last 60 days, and the current inventory.Reorder quantity = Peak Inventory – Current Inventory
Example If the highest point my inventory reached in the last 60 days was 100, and my current inventory for that product is 60, the reorder quantity will be 40.
The reorder level calculation depends on the highest point the inventory of a product reached (peak inventory), the percentage set, and the number of days selected.
Reorder Level= Percentage of Peak Inventory in Number of Days
Example Let's consider that I set the percentage as 20, and the days as 60. If the highest point my inventory reached in the last 60 days was 100, the reorder level will be 20.
