SMS, Email and WhatsApp Credit Settings

SMS, Email and WhatsApp are necessary when it comes to communicating with customers about order, delivery, payments etc. You can add money and manage email/SMS names via this page.

Add Credits

This option enables you to add money into your balance account, so that you can send messages to your customers without any hassle.


1. From the admin panel, go to Settings > SMS, Email & WhatsApp Credit.

The top most section will display the total balance in rupees. Additionally this section also displays charges applied for each SMS, Email and WhatsApp.

A detailed history of all the messages sent and balance used will be displayed below.

Date: Displays the date of SMS and email usage.
SMS: Displays number of SMS’s sent on that day.
Email: Displays number of Email’s sent on that day.
WhatsApp: Displays number of WhatsApp messages sent on that day.
Credit Usage: Displays rupees charged for that transaction , amount added or free balance added.
Balance: Displays total balance after that particular transaction.
Report: The 50 icon under the Download Log column allows you to download a detailed report of the SMS and Email that were sent on that particular day.

2. Click on Add Money on the top right. From the following modal, enter the amount that you wish to add in your account. Click on Make Payment and you will be directed to the payments page.


Important Note
GST of 18% will be applied when you add an amount into your account.

The added balance will now be visible in the Purchase History section. Your current balance will be updated too.


Purchase History

1. Click on Purchase History.

The following modal will be displayed.

It will display a list of all purchases made for your account, along with the date, amount, ID, and number of amount credited.

2. Click on Close to exit the modal or Add Money to add balance.

1. Tap on Settings from the main menu.

2. Tap on SMS, Email & WhatsApp Credit.

The following page will be displayed.

The top most section will display the total balance in rupees. Additionally this section also displays charges applied for each SMS, Email and WhatsApp. A detailed purchase history of all the messages sent and balance used will be displayed below.

3. Tap on Add Balance and the following page will be displayed.

4. Enter the amount that you wish to add in your account. A GST of 18% will be applied  to that amount. Tap on Make Payment. You will be directed to the payments page.

The added balance will now be visible in the Purchase History section. Your current balance will be updated too.

SMS Sender Name

You can book the SMS Sender Name with this option. This name will be displayed when you send messages to your customers.


1. From the admin panel, go to Settings > SMS, Email & WhatsApp Credit.

2. Click on Book Now in the SMS Sender Name section.

The following modal will be displayed. Click on Book SMS Sender Name.

3. Enter the preferred SMS Sender Name. In addition to your desired SMS Sender Name, you will also be asked to enter 3 choices/preferences that can be used, in case the first one is not available. On clicking  Book Sender Name for Rs.2000. You will be directed to the payments page.


Important Note
  • The SMS sender name can contain only alphabets and numbers.
  • The name should contain 6 characters.
  • It cannot contain any spaces.
  • It cannot contain any special characters.


Note

In case your desired SMS name is not available, a name will be selected from the 3 preferences provided.

Once a SMS sender name is selected from the submitted preferences, you will receive an email stating the same.

After a period of 72 hours, in case the SMS sender name preferences submitted by you are not available, you will receive an email stating the same.

1. Tap on Settings from the main menu.

2. Tap on SMS, Email & WhatsApp Credit.

The following page will be displayed.

3. Tap on Book Your SMS Sender Name.

The following page will be displayed.

4. Tap on Book Your SMS Sender Name.

5. Enter the preferred SMS name. In addition to your desired SMS sender name, you will also be asked to enter 3 choices/preferences that can be used, in case the first one is not available.

6. Tap on Submit New Preferences. You will be directed to the payments page.


Note

In case your desired SMS name is not available, a name will be selected from the 3 preferences provided.

Once a SMS sender name is selected from the submitted preferences, you will receive an email stating the same.

After a period of 72 hours, in case the SMS sender name preferences submitted by you are not available, you will receive an email stating the same.

Business Email

You can book business email name with this option. This name will be displayed when you send emails to your customers.


1. From the admin panel, go to Settings > SMS, Email & WhatsApp Credit.

2. Click on Book Now in the Business Email section.

The following modal will be displayed.

You can purchase / book email IDs from both these email providers. These providers offer multiple features about which you can read below their respective names.


Note
The prices displayed are for each email ID, per month.

3. Click on Proceed to continue with the Directi email system and from the following modal, select the number of email accounts you wish from the drop-down list.

Once the number of email accounts is selected/entered, the yearly payable cost for one email account will be displayed under Cost Per User .
The total yearly payable cost for all required number of email accounts will be displayed under Total cost per year .

4. Click on Purchase Email. You will be directed to the payments page. Post successful payment, you will receive an email from your email provider, confirming that the email accounts have been configured and are ready to use.


Configuring the email account
Based on from where your domain name was purchased, some changes would have to be made in your domain provider’s settings. In case you purchased the domain name from us, you needn’t make any changes. We will make the changes ourselves.

Please Note
This feature is currently unavailable in mobile. You can book business emails only through computer.
