Tax Settings

The Tax module in your account allows you to add taxes, that can later be used in association with products, inventory etc. Taxes once added here, can be applied in multiple modules of your account.
For instance, while adding a product, the taxes that can be linked to the product depend on the ones created here in the Tax module.

Add New Tax Rate

This functionality allows you to create a new tax slab.


1. Click on Tax in the Settings drop-down.

The following slider will be displayed.

2. In order to create a new tax slab, click on .

3. Enter the tax name from the options in the drop-down or you can create your own tax name.

4. Enter the tax rate in percentage.

5. If you want to display the price of a product without taxes, enable the Pricing exclusive of tax option.

6. Click on Add Multiple Tax, if you want to add more taxes.

7. Enter the tax name and tax rate respectively.

8. Click on Save.


Please Note
This functionality is currently unavailable. You can add new tax rate only from your computer.

Update Tax Rate

This functionality allows you to update your existing tax slab.


1. Click on Tax in the Settings drop-down.

2. Select an existing tax slab from the following slider that you want to update.

3. You can edit the Tax Name, Tax Rate and also add/remove multiple taxes.

4. Click on Save once you have made the necessary changes.


Please Note
This functionality is currently unavailable. You can update tax rate only from your computer.

Delete Tax Rate

This functionality allows you to remove a tax slab from the system.


1. Click on Tax in the Settings drop-down.

2. Select an existing tax slab from the following slider that you want to delete.

3. Click on , located on the Edit Tax slider.

4. A delete dialog box appears. Click on Delete Tax Rate, in order to complete the process.

The tax slab gets deleted successfully.

This functionality is currently unavailable. You can delete tax rate only from your computer.

Add New Tax Zone

This functionality allows you to create a new tax zone.


1. Click on Tax in the Settings drop-down.

The following slider will be displayed.

2. Click on the Zone tab where you will see all the zones created.

3. In order to create a new tax zone, click on .

The following slider gets displayed.

1. Enter the name of the tax zone.
2. Select the states from the drop -down list where the tax zone will be applicable.
3. Select the outlets for which you want to apply the tax on.

4. Click on Save.

Update Tax Zone

This functionality allows you to update an existing tax zone.


1. Click on Tax in the Settings drop-down.

The following slider will be displayed.

2. Click on the Zone tab where you will see all the zones created.

3. Select a zone that you want to update.

4. Edit the Tax Zone Name, States, and the Applied Outlets.

5. Click on Save once you have made the necessary changes.

Delete Tax Zone

This functionality allows you to remove a tax zone from the system.


1. Click on Tax in the Settings drop-down.

The following slider will be displayed.

2. Click on the Zone tab where you will see all the zones created.

3. Click on any of the tax zones that you want to delete.

4. Click on , located on the Edit Zone slider.

4. A delete dialog box appears. Click on Delete Zone, in order to complete the process.

The tax zone gets deleted successfully.
